Just Good Food

I ordered the honey old Bay wingettes with fried shrimp with added honey old Bay sauce. As always this portion of the meal was great. I love how they've added the option to request flats or drumsticks. As far as the sides I had with my meal the sweet potatoes were awesome as always. I must say though they should consider changing the name to sweet potato mash as it is a mashed potato consistency. The Mac n cheese on the other hand is a different story entirely. I've seen rave reviews for this item on the restaurants Instagram. Unfortunately the Mac and cheese is just nasty in my opinion. If you're looking for your mom's backed macaroni n cheese with a custard look elsewhere. This Mac n cheese has a creamy cheese with a very distinct but strange flavor. It's difficult forcing it down.

1st time placing an order here. I love soul food so I was excited and ordered a bunch of stuff. My daughters loved the fried chicken but were on the fence about the mac and cheese. It wasn't bad just different. They still ate it all. I ordered the fried tilapia platter with mac and cheese and potato salad. I never got the potato salad. I'm assuming they didn't want the you put it with the hot food on my platter and just forgot it. Tilapia was wonderful. I also ordered a crab pretzel and banana pudding which were great. I didn't even complain about the missing potato salad because the customer service and delivery time made up for it completely. The young lady who called to confirm order and delivered the food was so polite and professional. Loved it. Will definitely order again.

OMG we had the stuffed shrimp tonight. Babyyyyyy... I need to slap my mama for how good it was. It was broiled how I like it and moist inside. Yaaaasssss! The mac n cheese was cheesy with a taste I'm not used but still good. Don't bypass it though y'all. The potatoes in the potato salad needed to be cooked a little longer but that was good also. Maybe a little less mustard would give it's excellence. So with that being said... I still loved it so don't bypass that. Now the seafood salad. Just say I'm about to be in a coma ! I shall be ordering again. Thank you for this "this just good food". Got the hubby eating with no complaints. He said the greens were good but he does not like the stalk. He took the out and ate it though

I ordered the stuff Salmon Imperial, Lobster Mac-cheese, collard greens and some sort of triple mix drink. Im not even finished eating after the first bite I was like yum. The food is absolutely good. I was trying to do the vegan thing again but Im sorry I cannot Im struggling. This food makes me want to continue with my seafood. Absolutely good, and the driver was very polite and sweet. Thank you for my food. Me an my husband will be visiting the business to sit in and eat. 5 stars in my book. P.s. my order actually got here a few minutes before it was supposed to Im not mad. Lol

Ordered a bunch of stuff to try out:

1. Grilled salmon with collards and potato salad was fantastic. Fish was tasty. Potato salad, which honestly I usually hate if it's not my family recipe, was great! It's got a bit of spice which is wonderful. Collards could have used a bit more vinegar (probably personal preference), but were still delicious.

2. Crab cake was delicious and a good size.

3. Lobster mac and cheese was delicious!!!!! It was a bit oily for my taste, but it was wonderfully seasoned and had a good flavor.

I'll definitely be ordering again!

This is a wonderful restaurant that provides good food and warm acknowledgement as soon as you walk in the door. Visit at least once a week
